We host and support many innovative audio/video projects, like the worlds most popular Open Source media player for mobile devices called BetaPlayer formally known as The Core Pocket Media Player and the alternative to outdated containers like AVI and with features comparable to the MPEG-4 called the Matroska Multimedia Container. CoreCodec also makes it possible to playback cutting edge Media Formats with our other Directshow Codec filters: CoreAVC, CoreMP3, CoreASP, CorePix, CoreSVG, CoreVorbis, CoreFLAC, CoreAAC, CorePNG, CoreWavPack, and DSCrypt a special DRM filter for Directshow.

CoreCodec, Inc. Forward Thinking
Our history is not to sit idle with current or aging technologies that don't work as they should for audio and video. We like to extend ourselves and create projects with the future in mind. Our first was Extended Binary Markup Language (EBML), which is designed for specifically for the storage of audio and video metadata (Matroska is based on EBML). We also created the XML based 'Universal Subtitle Format' project called USF.

As you can see the CoreCodec balance of both Open Source and Closed Source Audio and Video products is very unique in the marketplace. Our philosophy is to Open Source when appropriate, and when we do choose to close source a product we strive to open as much of it as possible for third party access.

Our 'complete' business model of project/product interaction with developers, licensees and end users develops a far superior end product and because of our successes the CoreCodec Community has enjoyed double digit growth every month since 2004.
